NPD 14/5/08

Went to NPD this am to christen my new T curve that I purchased from Tri.

Donated 2 spinner baits to the snag gods, threw one away, lost one to a fish that wrapped me around a snag.

Missed about 4 hits and managed to land one bass around 47cm.

Met up with Dino and Ian who also had a fairly quiet day.

I am pleased with the rod and just dropped it into John Ford who is going to rebind a couple of the runners and touch up a chip in the epoxy.

Cheers

Mate they will work all year round but they are a reaction bait so depends on what mood the fish are in, they might want finesse like plastics. spinnerbaits will catch fish year round on the edges I have caught bass winter and summer on them and deep, really its see what is happening on the day

S/baits work any time, the reason you have not seen to many reports on plastics is the amount of grass jungle on the bottom.

Sorry Ray I'll just tag a couple of lines onto your post. I got 3 small bass and mate got one just as we were leaving. I also broke the bail arm on my reel and had to get my s/bait back in by hand.
