rockwall at pinkenba??

hey guys ive seen a few of yous talin about a rock wall or sunken wall in pinkenbah?? would any one be able to give me sum direction 2 where it is?? cheers

You can access it landbased:cheer: The Cod in my profile picture was taken landbased just under the Cement Co place (security fence in the background:silly:) and I've caught heaps of smaller Cod and Flathead (to 58cm:cheer:) there

some of my best catches out of the bris river were caught exactly where cowfish is talking about on mac tuna strips. seen sx40s work well there as well and im sure if you could get livies down there they would clean up.

haha. man it gets filthy within 2 days of washing it. I shed a tear every Sunday when I think of how nice it looked Saturday morning after a wash.

Good spot for live bait on the change of the tide there is around the beacons just to the right of the mouth of boggey creek, I almost always fill a bucket with herring along there to fish the rockwall

I've only ever used lures. Had most of our success on Jackall Chubbies there:)

Which one is boggey ck?

How would live poddy mullet go there do you guys reckon? I bought a cast net (never used one before) and had a crack in Breaky creek for practice and brought up a heap of poddys.

I am fairly new to fishing in Brizzy (and lets face it - I ain't a gun fisho) and am always looking for a new place to not catch any fish......

Boggy creek is the creek closest to the mouth of the river, on the north side. Heaps of stingrays and big cattys wich fight well, some good bream, good flattys, lots of small stuff, heaps of bait.. it also holds the cod, the odd jewfish and the odd jack

Live poddys would catch you plenty of catfish, flathead on the sand/mud, and if you cast neer good stucture like sunken logs and rocks ect, a good chance of a cod or maybe a jack.. and in the deep holes and around the bridge a chance of a jewy But for the bream your better off using smaller baits.

But yeh sometimes it can be pretty hit and miss..

There are also a few Sharks and Threadies around there:cheer: Poddy's get smashed. I had one about 25cm get nailed by a big Shark that was close to spooling me, then bit me off:(

If you go to the pinkenba boat ramp it is simply a matter of walking along the wall to your left (facing towards water) for aslong as you can be bothered. Whenever we go there is always a few cod to keep you interested.

IMO, so not worth going past where the top of the rockwall stops being flat and easy to walk. to dangerous to walk on IMO.

If landbased, you stand on it, if boat based, you cast towards it
