Pretty boring and the host was an absolute idiot. An hour of subtle advertising with some fishing. That's what I thought anyway.

i loved that bream bit although th electric reels was boring except for when one of the bateries ran out :cheer:. lee rayner at the beggining of this season decided to go serperate ways, i miss having lee on there but what can you do,

I got turned off ifish some episodes back (except that episode where they were catching sail fish on Jetskis). A mate put me on to Adventure Bound (Briz31 on Monday evenings @ 8pm). Probably the best fishing show I have seen for some time (although I don't have Foxtel). You guys are probably already onto it. Most fishos are a step ahead of me.

Letter to editor in this mornings courier mail . Someone stating that if they didnt hold the fish out of the water for so long they wouldnt have so much trouble reviving them.

I have only watched the programme once and was not impressed. Just not my thing the way they carry on.

the first season or two were ok. that show on sunday was utter bs. what a waste of time - push a button and it pulls the fish up for you. how lazy can you get? and the guy, think it is paul, is a total knob. lost one viewer right here. i'll stick with recording fishing WA from foxtel at the old lady's place. or family guy dvd's...

Yeh the guy talking about bream! He had it flapping in the breeze for ages while he was talking, and who knows how many takes they did, needless to say the fish wasn't kicking.

Even the first few seasons were hit and miss. I guess they do pretty broad segments because it is a fishing show for the masses and is pretty dumbed down.

Remember that 99% of people think fishing is just chucking a prawn on a hook and throwing it out and hoping for the best. So they do a lot of educational segments which is good as it'll probably help a few of those people out there realise that there's a lot more to it.

But some episodes like the one with the jet skies and the one where the host gets pulled overboard by an samson or whatever it was using a Stella 20000 were pretty good.

As for the electric fishing. I think it was just a massive promo for that gear and they were really pushing the whole go fishing for just to get food ethos that is at odds with many people's views these days.
