TerryH: Useless at deciding where, please help.

As topic reads, All I know is:

I want to go fishing

But where? I'm thinking:

1. Mouth of brissy.

Could hit up some tuna if they're still aroudn out there - word is jimmy hooked up to a longtail before being busted off on bream gear. Alternatively, there's mud flats I can work for some flatties.

2. Big W

Don't know anything about this place. Big bass being caught. I'd back myself to bag a few. Then again, I'd back myself for anything

3. Ewen Maddock

Steroid-filled fish. Got my soudner going again, and some lures that I think could clean up for trolling, that i assuming they're not in the heart of the weed. That said, I've got some purple jackalls and spinners to work the weeds with.

4. Stanley River or somewhere similar

Got some 'gun' cod spinnerbaits. Might be worth a crack at some cod

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated :)

Any one going anywhere tomorrow? any boaties or kayakers?

Dunno, been meaning to get in there myself, just have not got around to it. (Ramps a bit iffy for my rig, concrete but quite steep in the lower half, so I'd have to time it right with the tides)

From the ramp (at Bob Bell park) to the north is downstream, a couple of k's to join to the North Pine just west of the highway.

Looks real fishy though with lots of snags along the banks. Probably 25 to 30m wide at the ramp.

I had a brief chat with an older gentleman there about a month ago. Apparently, he frequents the place for sharks. He's always landbased. There's bream, mullet, catfish, catfish and more catfish there. :)

I think I'll pass on salt water creeks. Yeah I'm thinking Ewen, dunno.. possibility of Tuna...

I'd love to go to Wiven... I could find a nice strip of real estate with a school or something and work that up for a series of 50s and possibly a pb... although it's a huge place so I don't feel comfortable about randomly paddling in search of something Lol

Na woke up at 6, then went back to bed.

Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow morning - definitely going fishing

Option 1: Brissy River mouth, high tide around 9:20am, apparently that's when the tuna have been around the mouth there, so really could be in with a shot! failing that there's good mud flats to run some sand vipers over for flathead

Option 2: Ewen Maddock Dam - was definitely going to go to EMD, but seeing the tides for brissy river, I'm not sure now :( haha

I didn't see any longtails all day

Got some photos hopefully coming via email though - assuming he doesn't mind me using them on the site I'll put them up to go with my report that's coming ;)

A hint would be: The main result is visible in every post I have made :P
