Where along queensland coast?

Hi all!

I'm currently in South Africa and fish as often as I can here. I am however joining you fine gentlemen from the beginning of next year. I'm seriously considering moving to the queensland coast and i want to find out where the ideal places would be from a shore angling perspective. I want to live as close to the fishing as possible - any suggestions???

Gold Coast, great fishing in and around the Goldie. South of the Goldie has some pretty awesome river with out the crouds of Surfers itself.

Wynnum, Manly and most of the area know as the Bayside is on the door step to Moreton Bay as is Redcliff and other Nortern Brisbane suburbs.

Brisbane River itsself if a fairly consistant fishery

Price on and near the water is the biggest factor

Yeah couldnt have said it better myself, although you did say "Queensland" North queensland has some amazing fishing too, Townsville and north to the cape has amazing landbased fishing! If you want to chat just send me an email..
