queensland NPD 22nd Bullockies

As the water is receding it is making walking the banks a lot easier. My mate and I decided to give bullockies a go this am and found out there are fish about cruising the edges of the submerged grass. Starting off with dark s/baits it wasn't long before some good bass were following our slow retrieves.

We managed several bass during the morning with the mate taking the honours for the biggest bass at 53cm, he was a happy chappy. There was some 45cm,42cm,37cm and several others from 20cm to 35cm. All were on s/baits, dark to start then lighter ones as the sun got higher.

Kriso the wind determinds where you fish,best with it behind you. It wasn't strong today.

does that bass look fatter than most np bass?

and also do you think that in the next few months people will start catching 30 or more bass a sesion again?

The big bass are all looking healthy at the moment and yes the numbers should increase in a few weeks time.

You are not supposed to be there between sunset and dawn. Gates are locked at Bullockys and Security do patrol Mc Gavins .
