Anyone been to/fished Dubai?

Hey guys,

Going to Dubai for a week in November for my brother in laws wedding.

Long story short, got a week, might as well sample the local fishing right :)

I saw one you tube clip of some brothers catching amazing cobia, queenies, GT's, Golden Trevs, huge cod, sailfish and the list goes on.

Problem is, google wise I can only find very very avergage looking fishing charters than charge out the arse.

Anyway just wondering if anyone has ever been for work or otherwise and was lucky enough sample some of the local fishing and might know some charters.

Seriously though foreign land/culture aside, if there is fishing to be had, wouldn't they have a tackle shop of some sort where you could ask questions? There is probably the world's biggest BCF there!:woohoo:

To late mate. A lot of our friends are living over there at the moment and she has been well and truly briefed on the shopping potentials.

To be honest when i see those cars driving around the first thing that pops into my head is not "ooo what a lovely car I bet the person dirving it is a charming youg fellow who is in no way at all compensating for something".
