the best day to go for the newbies is sunday when the top fueler's run the ground shakes and you can feel the pressure on your chest its unreal! where talking cars that do over 500klm in the space of 400m holding just over 4g's of force the length of the track then going straight to -4 g's when they pull the chute's. basically they have balls like watermelons to do what they do.

I'm much the same as Angus when it comes to cars, but I went along once.

That VVHHOOOOOMMPHH!!! you get through the chest is unreal.:woohoo:

Not enough to spark interest for me, but well worth doing at least once.

yep i got hooked i allready liked cars and then when i experinced this as a kid it was like a bag of that magical white powder hahah since then followed it for ages. Its funny its not real big here but in the states its like one of the biggest motorsports if you catch the NHRA on fox you will allways see the grandstand packed with A-list celebrities and massive sponsorship every where. unfortuantley here alota guys have to run outa there own pockect and the prize money doesnt even cove a 1/4 of the cost if you win. but yeah i agree its definatly worth experiencing it once.
