Just saw the dam report on the news and both dams have received a small amount rain and they said they might soon release some water out of somerset into wivenhoe:woohoo: so this will mean the river in between will have some qaulity fish going threw it so once this happens and it settles down get out there and nail a few:)

After a few weeks the fishing would be hot there. Some big fish could go over hope you guys can get some of those big fish.

Angus will no the name of the bridge were we went land based that would be perfect for yak launch Its Alias is "deer crossing" cause I nearly cleaned a few up and stained my jocks haha

Yeah that corssing is good. I have only fished the waterhole upstream of the bridge but have always eyed of the river downstream as a yak adventure.

Does anyone have upto date measurement of the dams? The closest i've found is 9am this morning, Tommorow mornings will be interesting.

I think they said somerset was 83% wivenhoe was 20 something

Yeh well they havnt changed much but all the run off over the next week or 2 will bring em up.

They just said the stanley had 6m come threw it this arvo

Yeh hope somerset gets upto 100% would probly go out and see it if it was overflowing into wivenhoe.
