Brisbane River: Old Mount Crosby Weir to 50 m downstream of the weir; 200 m upstream to 400 m downstream of Mount Crosby Weir; and Wivenhoe Dam to 600 m downstream of the dam wall.

I bet there is loads way up the creek then. I was expecting you say to say Colleges or something. Shame.

I have read that they can surrvive salinity levels that are common in the mouth of the river. So really it could be assumed that they could have easily populated any tributary of the Brisbane River.
