Damiki bings in shop

Recommended Posts

Hey all

I bought some poppers from the online shop here..

I am wondering what is the go with the prouducts here?

are they tried and tested items backed by memebers?

I was looking at the damiki bings (3-5inch) for flatty and whatnot

do these have hooks and jig heads in them, (i like the look of them)

has anyone used them?..

regards

Dan

I have caught Bass on the poppers.

Ando has caught plenty of fish on the bings but I am yet to give them a good crack personally.

Ill let him describe them though as he did really well with them and said they had an awesome action.

The Vaults in the shop I can personally recomend as very successful. The Strike King Red eye shads and pro model crank baits are also proven on bass.

Plus the damiki dc's have a great swimming action, cast like rockets and catch fish :):P

ok I have had to edit this thread as I went out today and gave the DC100 (color = Ghost smog) a run at nudgee beach in the canal just up from the boat ramp midday.

Well I threw a lot of casts and having never done much HB fishing I was falling into a daydream wondering if I was scaring them or attracting them.

I didn't know what to expect when I hooked a leaf, jerked the lure up so the leaf would fall off the lure and about 4 meters out in front of me a decent flattie grabed the lure and was shaking it in its mouth :)

Since I was caught off guard because of the leaf, the flattie spat the lure and swam off pretty quick.

But a pleasing result for an midday outing first time with HB.

I think morning or afternoon on the right tide would make for better fishing than midday sun glaring down.

and yes this is pretty much the same as my first SP attempt, when I also made an accidental hookup in the shallows.

so in reality I am yet to actually land a fish on either :P

Sorry a bit of a late reply.

there a gun lures mate, fantastic action. i have been cutting them down for the bream and they have been working a treat. good squire lure aswell, as well as pelagics.

Nice pics Ando, i really like the salmon pic with the bing.:cheer:

Flatty_catcher, you keep trying and you soon be catching them on a regular basis. I reckon when you jerked the dc-100 to get the leaf off, it gave an erratic action and that got the flatty interested. I would suggest varying your retreive to stop start styles or giving the rod a jerk every now and then while retreiving and that may get your lures a bit more attention.;)

tight lines mate
