Fishing Spots

I was wondering where there are any good fishing spots for Bream, Flathead and Thread Fins on the Hamilton side of the river. Eg near Bretts Wharf, Pinkenba or Near the Breakfast creek. Also what baits and lures should i use there. What are the best times to go and where.

mate the 3 places you mentioned there would be my pick.

Bretts wharf, Pinkenba and Brekky Creek.

bait wise: prawns, squid or even just pillies

Lure wise: GULP shrimp and minnows should give you a few fish.

newstead park along the walkway is good for bream and flatties. just near the mouth of brekky creek is good. make sure your lure is getting to the bottom though.

Pinkenba can produce, start at the pinkenba boat ramp and turn left or right along the rockwall casting you should pick up a flattie or bream or even a cod in no time.

ive had success at both of these places, newstead at night and pinkenba during the day and dusk
