queensland Barra on chubby

When I was at monduran for a bass pro event my mate Youngy landed this in the pre-fish with me a 1m+ barra on a chubby ment for a bass on 4lb braid 12lb leader was great to see it landed very lucky wrapping him around about 20 trees.

It was my excitment for the comp cause only about 24 bass caught all weekend out of 100+ anglers none for me but got to go in a couple skeeters one was a I class with a 250hp e tec that was a eye opener:blink: [img size=499]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/monduran_bass_pro__1m_barra_004_AFO.jpg

The fuuny thing was they were fine wire barbless bream hooks too did'nt staighten one.

WOW :ohmy: cant believe that was caught on a chubby and on 12lb. I was watching IFISH today and they were fishing at Monduran aswell, although they were using 50lb braid with 100lb leader to catch them
