queensland flatty_catcher actually catches a flatty

went down to Lytton road this arvo and tried my luck at the old SP again, well I snagged a flattie :cheer:

my first good fish on soft plastics and on the new rod and reel.

Nice healthy one too, caught on 4 inch minow in Lime tiger, giving the rod two hard flicks then letting it drop.

didnt have a ruler but from the pic at scale i reckon about 45-46 cm

good stuff, i like those pics. What weight jighead was it on?

1/4 jigg mate , as you see in the pic its not small or a hidden jigg head , but did the trick with the 4 inch minow.

and yes the pics are great hey ( but a little fuzzy , i must have been to quick), digital cameras are great.
