queensland Brisbane River 27/08/08 - PB Bream @ 40cm

Went out for a quick night fish in the brissie river and stumbled accross this bream. It was a PB at 42cm / 1.39kg.

Caught with a lime tiger prawn on a size 4 / 1.5g jighead.

Nice fish mate, stu's winning bream at the BRC went about 44cm(total length) and 1.27kg so your fish is a beauty.

hope the pics are a little better....

I didn't realise the size of the bream that move through the river.

It is definitely an eye opener for myself.

Tackle wise - I was fishing a 1000 sized reel with 1lb fireline crystal when I hooked it up. (only expecting the brissie river bream to be around the 27-28cm mark...)
