Hi Guys/Girls

Last November had a charter day as a birthday present with Fish the Deep at Southport.Finally went on Sunday.

Took my own rod and asked if i could use my Bozo soft plastics,without coming accross as a smart arse nowit all,they kindly agreed and used them without success up until 11.00am.Everybody else was catcthing snapper just oversize,so i switched to a floating pillie and had 2 small snapper returned.Then moved out to the 50 fathoms and had drift close to a fish trap,2 poly floating balls.Bang the pommie baitrunner went screaming off, after a run up and down the boat a Dolphin fish was on board,a 70cm beauty.Back in to the 36s and another 3 snapper on a pillie.38,42 and 45 cm not bad for the first time i thought.

Been going through a bit of a drought lately,so a bit of a boost.

Back to the seaway.

Yes good eating had a fillet last night.

Caught my first couple of good size whiting on sat night,they are hard to beat for taste.

Hopefully the drought is over.

I think its six times on the seaway without a fish.

I have enough gear in my tinnie to open a tackle shop.

As they say, all the gear and only a slight idea.But i will crack it.[true]
