Yellow fin tripod fish Old Scaley Nerang River

I caught and released one of those Yellowfin tripod fish today behind Coochie Island. 
Do you have any info on them? Like:

What is size limit?

Are they good eating?

are any of their spines poisonous?

No size limit. They are supposed to be terrible on the chew. I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure their spines are not poisonous.

Yeah it was a surprise bycatch as I was chasing flathead off the banana banks
