  1. P1040415.MP4 f Off to NPD with Craig and Brian. The weather was dreich but the fish did not mind once we found them down near the old far marker. 39 bass,2 tandans and a small spangled perch all on live shrimp and released. Percy has arrived back and was looking for a feed. Brian was happy to increase his bass pb to 46.5 he also recaptured a bass that I tagged on 1/4/23 that had grown 10mm tin355mm.Only other wildlife was one pig and a couple of roos with no deer spotted. Maybe they did not like the cold wind and drizzle. I thought that I could bypass the site photo problem by taking a couple of vidios on my phone only to find out I cannot download them from my phone to my pc.

  7. Reasonable day today with Brian and Michael. Did our shrimp traps the shrimp were small and scarce but we got enough for a reasonable session. There were a lot of flathead gudgons in the traps that took a bit of sorting out. At first fish were hard to find and only small and we really didn't do well till we got to the drop off at the old far marker. The fish were not schooled up but moving along the drop off at the edge of the old river bed and were coming through in groups of 3 or four. The fish were between 30 and 40cm and in very good condition and had been feeding on small bony bream that they spat out when hooked. Our final tally was 52 bass and one 43cm yella that Brian took home for a feed. All the rest released.

  10. only about 40 to 50 shrimp out of pots bonus was went we went downstream we found 10 of our pots high and dry out of the pots that were stolen about 6 months ago. Guy must have abandoned them after he was sprung. Still 6 to go we suspect they may be somewhere in the eastern arm. We also found 2 of your old pots that were tied to a fallen tree. Not much left of them but gutterguard is still ok.
  11. Headed to the western arm this morning with Mark. We first went upstream and wasted a lot of our valuable shrimp feeding the barred grunter and a few small bass before we headed downstream to the drop off near the white post where we found some better size bass plus the bonus of no barred grunter. We had to leave because the wind and waves were coming straight down the eastern arm and making it too uncomfortable for my back. We moved upstream into the adjacent bay and tied up to one of the isolated trees and found more quality bass ending up with a total of 30 bass with the majority of them over 35cm. The eagles appreciated a feed of barred grunter.
