Excellent read/story. I would love to replicate your yak sessions in the boat one day. Horse grassy had me envious for sure.
I had a great time as usual hanging with you and the family. Pretty happy with my biggest flattie, too.
What about the size of that dugong on the SW of the island the day of the 300 series recovery ?!

Great way to start the day. I've just returned from a 6 day trip on Moreton Island and started each day with a session chasing flatties the same way. Should be compulsory.

www.official-fishing.com is a scam. https://www.alanhawk.com/blog/zmb.html has a list of some known scammers. Are the prices ridiculously cheap ? If so, and the Paypal isn't working, I'd bet on it being a scam. -

Assuming you mean Inskip Point. I can't say I've ever had a fish there, only passed through on the way to Fraser. At this time of year you may pick up some tailor stragglers on the surf side, using pilchards. Dusk and dawn are the best times.
There would also be plenty of dart in the surf on fresh pippies or beach worms.

I used to touch up hard bodies with nail polish for the fresh. No residual odour.

Went to the Rous to chase macks and whiting last week. No macks, but the whiting were there. Not great numbers, we only got 8 in 90 minutes in amongst a plethora of pickers and juvenile snapper and tailor.
