Awesome stuff mate.

At the spot that I showed him… yeah, wasn’t expecting to be out so soon but the boss suggested I need an outing and @ellicat kindly obliged. Thanks for the day out mate, hopefully a few more soon!

Cod x 2 team north, 34 and 41 (probably 42 if it sat on the mat properly but I’ll accept it shows 41)

I’ve been promoted…

I’m busy…

Awesome mate. Few good fillets there. How good is it when the weather and the fish play along.
-
Thanks Ed. Not going too bad yet… getting at least 3-4 hours most nights… stocked up hard on coffee prior so it’s not too bad.
-
Thanks Gary. Other wee one is definitely in an “adjustment phase” but we’ll get there.
-
Hoping so mate! Would be great to have more excuses to get out on the water.

Yeap, Dorothy is due for an upgrade regardless so he will get a hand me down as soon as he’s big enough.

Thanks Kat. :)

I would like to welcome a new fisho to the world. Meet Alfred. Also a new PB for me at 56cm. All going well so far. No brag mat shot as my brag mat isn’t exactly sanitary… see you all in about 12 months when I get to go fishing again… cheers, benno

the photo of the white bellied sea eagle is a corker mate, some nice fish there too.

i like trolling zerek tango shads and pontoon21 crackerjacks in the 55mm. natural colours seem to work the best.

why would it need to be a mini bar? why limit yourself so? how about a full size bar instead? it would be like @ellicat buying a fun size cherry ripe - it's just silly. Owing to an imminent significant change on the home front, it will be incredibly unlikely I will be available to attend any gathering this year.

Is this the start of a joke…? have seen how much water is flowing out via young’s crossing the last two mornings on the way to work, hope the turbidity improves soon so you can either catch some fish or plant out a fresh summer crop, preferably the first one.
