  1. Thanks for the reply to my question guys. Sorry for the hi-jack Beejay.
  2. I'm keen to get my first Jack. I think I've found some likely territory up Ningi Creek that I want to investigate again this weekend so all this info is helpful. One question though - do you get a second go at the same Jack. That is: if you've been bricked by a monster, will it hang around for you to get another cast at it or do they spook easily?
  3. From what started out as a complaint (and it sounds well founded) this has become a really useful source of information. We were completely oblivious the first time we went out with Benno; did we really use that much fuel, did we really go through that much bait. The truth is we did (well maybe not the bait bit - Benno goes a bit nuts buying bait). We trusted Ben and we are lucky that he is one of the many good guys on the site. The point is that the non-boaters know little about the expenses of a day on the water and this thread will go a long way to help inform us all. So thanks to Gazz for starting the thread and sorry to hear about your bad experience. The up side is that we have our skipper well trained now, he mixes a fantastic gin and tonic, keeps my hook baited and takes all the icky fish of the hook for me - thanks Benno. :silly:
  4. Is this the kind of thing you're after Kev. I will now attempt to insert video here. Check this out: />http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9enllfJZ1MQ&feature=related
  5. Hi Mullies, I bought a Luvias 2000 earlier in the year and absolutely love it. I got it from www.bass.jp for $285 and notice that they are now $277. I ordered it at 11am on a Friday and it was waiting for me at my office on the following Monday morning. :cheer:
