Our Barra and Bass, catch and release freshwater fishing club started in 2006. We organise a yearly freshwater fishing tournament that is competitive, but maintains an open environment for our club members to share their freshwater fishing tips. We encourage families to join our fishing club! We've a low annual membership fee and our members are happy to share their fishing tips! If you'd like to enter our competition their are no boat size restrictions and our round fees are low with plenty of great prizes to win thanks to the generosity of our fantastic sponsors! 14-15th May is Round 3 of the Basstasstic Bass Fishing Tournament at Cania Dam. Club meeting at 8pm (at the big shed at Big 4 Cania Gorge Tourist Park) on the Friday night before to organise start times, check rules and pay membership/round fees. There are still enough rounds left for you to qualify for entry into the Grand Final (your 4 best rounds count). For more information, visit www.basstasstic.com Cania Dam
