  1. Last chance, leaving Wednesday so tomorrow is the last time I can meet anyone.
  2. I'm moving overseas next week and need these rods all gone asap. Priced accordingly. All rods have been stored for two years and could do with some inox and a clean up, but they are all in pretty good condition considering! I would have cleaned them up properly but I'm running short on time. Pick up from Samford/Mt Glorious, or I can meet you on the Northside. Over the weekend, or Monday/Tuesday is best for me, after that will be too late. Daiwa Steez STZ 701MHFBA (1pc), $225 - in great condition 8/10, in very good condition, has rod bag. Gary Howard Offshore M10 (1pc), $175 - in fair condition 7/10, very heavy duty well built rod. Has some surface rust on guides and needs a clean. Rod is 7'3" (from memory). St Croix Extreme XS66MHF (1pc), $250 - in great condition 8.5/10, very sweet rod, light, casts well and has balls. Second guide has snapped on one side at the foot and needs replacing is the only problem, but sort that and you have an amazing rod on the cheap! Has rod bag. Majorcraft Crossage KGS-862DAY (2pc), $175 - 9.5/10, almost as new, great light rod that casts a nice range of lures. The ultimate shore rod, perfect for big flatties. Has rod bag. Majorcraft SPS-902LSJ (2pc), $85 10/10, as new basically, used twice, interesting rod! Has rod bag. Take them all: $850 I will try to add photos. Google the model names for more information! Any questions or for more photos, just DM me!
  3. Tiotony, myself and a mate James hit the base for a live bait session and to throw around some lures last night. Initially quite slow, a double hook up soon followed with a legal jack for Tony and 60cm barra for me. Went dead after that and the tide turn so headed into deeper water. Tony caught a fingermark a bit over 40cm and a big tarpon christening his new reel. Not to long after Tony got flashed by a metrey barra on his trusty 2inch gulp shrimp so I decided to throw one of my lures around again. Wasn't too long and I got smashed, the barra took straight to the air and went bananas. Got to test a new combo well and subdued the fish nicely. Netting was not an easy task with a lift net and huge tide running away from the fish, but after many tense moments we eventually got her on the jetty. She went 85cm and was a strong fish, pulled me off my feet at one stage momentarily. The best part was this was my first fish on a homemade lure of mine. It's getting retired! Tony also was busted off (on a navy ship no less) by a large easy 70+ barra which was bound to happen fishing tight quarters with 8lb braid and a medium heavy rod. Tony didn't take any photos of his fish unfortunately, would have been good to add them in.
