Plenty of fish around, I've seen some big estuary cod near the rocks. Try adjusting your approach, you might get onto some fish then.

I think it's about 14 and a half that you're allowed to go find work. There should be a few good christmas casual positions out about this time of year. good luck and don't let anyone deter you!

Sometimes at the wellington point jetty there are small schools of mullet swimming around, there are also quite a few hardiheads. From experience the wello point jetty doesn't have that many snags, but just go down to the end of the jetty and you'll be right.
