Thanks for all the kind words gang. As your reward here is a video. Go the dad bod 2017 I say. This video popped up on my fb feed right after the 'Thunder from Down Under' behind the scenes shoot video. Ahemmmmm. Got me thinking though. How great and hilarious would it be to put out an AFO 2017 Calendar??? Thank you to everyone who came along, was a great day! I do not want to thank you for not volunteering to put sunscreen on my back which is now lobster-like. Special mentions to Wayne, Kelvin, Steve, Peter, Sam, Benno for the help, unloading, loading, cooking and equipment!! Team effort couldn't have done it without you all. Look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

Heya @Old Scaley we have 30 people RSVP'd and this afternoon began the chicken marinating. 60 chicken drumsticks is a LOT of chicken by the way. Everything is looking under control so rewarding myself with a few wines this avo. I have a list of around 750 things to take with me including tongs

No it won't be a hamper just bagged up and taken to the Foodbank crate at Coles so anything at all eg. Tinned food, biscuits, washing powder, dog food, cleaning products, personal hygiene products shampoo, soap etc.

Awesome Kelvin thanks so much! Are you able to bring some ice for the esky? Just that I'll be there at 10 ish and given the forecast it will be a bag of boiling water by the time the esky arrives. Or since @kmcrosby78 is bring all these things does someone else want to volunteer??

REMINDER! Please remember to BYO drinks (there will be an esky to use) and a chair! If you could also bring a non perishable food item from the pantry I will have a box and would like to donate these to Coles Foodbank. I feel if we can have a lovely soirée then we can give a little back to the community.

I hope you're not suggesting I DO THE DEMONSTRATION! I am already doing the Trivia for entertainment - you cannot be having too much fun!!!! @Luvit no that won't help at all lol but honestly thank you for the offer!!! I am responsible (and feeling the pressure) for feeding 20 or so hungry men (and hopefully some women) and I need a decent hotplate. My Mum is going to ask her Church if we can borrow theirs. I have even looked at buying a 2nd hand one because I'm getting desperate.
