I believe you can turn it on or off in settings. Also have a google on why my Hook not reading water depth. They have that option as they don’t suggest having it on when on land for a long period of time.
  2. You’re very consistent on those Snapper Rebel. Great work.
  3. That is a BIG Longtail. Great fish.
  4. Good job taking the kids and a few fish to keep them interested. Win, Win.
  5. Weather certainly sounded unpleasant but at least you had a go.
  6. Good stuff Rebel taking the kids and getting one of the young fellows his first Kingy. I grabbed one of those Squidtrex after you seemed to do ok on them and got a couple of Reddies but out of the boat. Thanks mate.
  7. MJ, have you seen them filleting Spanish Mackeral on the Mackeral boats. They are bloody fast as well.
  8. Shimano Tiagra Fishing real 130a 2 Speed. Not $459.85 but $98.95. How could anyone think this is scam, it sounds to good to be true. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Yes Scam.
  9. Sounds a great morning a win win for everyone Happy and healthy Puppy. BF
  10. On-ya Rebel. Good to see your still terrorising those fish and frequenting the Newport Arms. BF
  11. Never had one but I heard they taste like Chicken.
  12. Yes, first one is a “Yellow Banded Wirrah” That’s really cool BrodieS Second one is a “Eastern Wirrah” Third is a “Eastern Red Scorpionfish” or more commonly called Red Rock Cod and yes they have poisonous dorsal spines. They won’t kill you but they bloody hurt. Certainly a array of different species mate.
  13. Yes, same thing here …..and I thought it was me. Error code EXO
  14. Have you checked National parks to see if there is any vacancies on the Island at that time.
  15. As Ellicat said Gunther’s Wrasse, Orange/brown lines on its face and spots along its back up near the dorsal. They have been recorded much further north as well and I would guess it’s an adult.
  16. On a side note, that would be getting in the Northern range for the Kelpie and the Southern range for that Trevally. Interesting stuff Brodie
  17. Geez that work/school gets in the way sometimes, which is a bit of a buggar. Good to see you getting back into things. The first is a Eastern Kelpfish or as Andrew said, Kelpy. Second I’d have to agree with Andrew as well.
  18. Sorry mate I didn’t finish my post. I have now corrected it. What I was getting at is maybe one is better than another as they are similar.
  19. Hey Mission if you do get one take a photo of it so we can ID which one it is and you can comment on how it tastes.
  20. There is a couple similar looking fish, Sombre Sweetlip and Painted Sweetlip. I personally haven’t eaten any of them so I can’t comment but maybe one is better eating than the other.
