I have bought a 4.2 Allycraft and have found that when the battery is connected the hull is grounded. I have checked all the wiring and it is all direct to the battery and no connection to the hull. The only thought that I have is that the hull is grounding via the outboard where it is bolted to the transom. Is that a reasonable supposition and any advice would be appreciated.
