      Had a quick flick around Noosa Esplanande with plastics for no luck. Should have fished at the beach today because there were lots of fish swimming around and I caught about 5 big pipis in a couple of minutes I could have used for bait.

      Noosa - I have my telescopic rod packed but it is mainly a hiking/riding camp so hopefully Charlie and I will be able to have a cast.

      Wow. That's awesome there is wild life like that so close to homes and suburban environments. 

      It's sure lucky the dogs didn't get to it - I can't imagine they'd take liking to it.

    This Stargazer I baked on the BBQ and made up a curried prawn sauce as I did not know much about there eating qualities but it did taste pretty good but on its own  a mate said they were a bit rough.

    G'day everyone

    Does anyone have any go-to spots for freshwater eel. I just need to stock up for them for shark bait, I've already had my first shark for the season and at the moment i'm loosing serious time (school holidays). Also, if anyone wouldn't mind, do you have any land based spots for jew (possibly threadies) to.
