  1. Hey mate, Mt Crosby is an alright spot, I've caught lots of bass there, I would suggest using surface from 4-7am or a diving hardbody when its later in the day. It is probably a good idea to go there and suss it out as theres many spots to fish from there. Good luck. Also, out of interest, did you get the bass on a boat or from the land at Moggil Creek?
  2. Definitely a bullrout. I catch quite a few in my castnet in the saltwater reaches of the Brisbane River around creeks or after rain.
  3. Great boat and great tusky.
  4. Great stuff, plenty of awesome fish there.
  5. Nice size carp, shame it wasn't a cod.
  6. Nice bass, I bet they would be delicious if they weren't poisonous.
  7. @mangajack, just out of interest, what’s your biggest Threadfin and Jewfish from the river?
  8. Nice work manga, sounds like a decent session.
  9. Good stuff Daryl, plenty of nice tuskies there.
  10. Great stuff Greg. New boat looks awesome and those are some nice fish.
  11. I do the same, if it were king tides I might go fishing in the freshwater parts or middle reaches of the river but neap/smaller tides would be more suitable for spots in the lower reaches.
  12. I like fishing in the Brisbane River in neap tides more than king tides as it means I can have my baits in the zone for longer, as king tides normally sweep baits to the bank. In saying this I normally get bites in both scenarios, it just seems to depend on the day as to when the fish are chewing the most (or moon/tide).
  13. Also capitals in titles are fixed which is nice.
  14. Great work on the Jack Ross and nice bream Steve. It’s great that photos are back.
  15. This is my favorite website. Wish I could contribute some more threadfins though
  16. Great stuff Neil, that looks like a good whiting session.
  17. That’s a shame Ray, hope you get a few more next time.
  18. Sounds like some good buys Rebel. I have an Okuma Coronado CDX which I’ve found to be a excellent reel.
  19. Nice work Bob, that’s a great cod.
  20. I would suggest trying to beach it or grabbing it quickly in the mouth, netting solo can be quite tricky.
  21. Nice work, that still sounds like a pretty good session @mangajack, you can't be too unhappy with a 55 squire . Was the water still quite dirty out there?
