  1. Hey Gang, We are setting up for the Wynnum Fishing Classic again in May 2020. It is a catch and release competition run over the Labour Day long weekend and finishes with the Wynnum Manly Seafood Festival. I am wondering if anyone can give me any leads on sponsors? Thanks.
  2. This coming weekend is Labour Day long Weekend and the OzFish Unlimited Wynnum Fishing Classic is on from Friday 3rd May to Monday 6th May. Weigh-in from 11.30am to 2pm Monday (public holiday). The weather is looking mint! Win one of 2 Boat Packages and heaps of other amazing prizes while you help the fishing in Moreton Bay. For rules and how to enter go to On the Monday 6th we are co-hosting the Wynnum Manly Seafood Festival. It is on at the same time and same place as the weigh-in. Licenced Bar, bands and heaps of awesome seafood as well as other options for vegetarians and non seafood lovers. It is for a great cause. We are restoring shellfish reefs in Moreton Bay.   4. 3rd to 6th May. the 6th is Labour day. Come along and win a boat. All the info you need is on our website. It is a catch and release competition. All money raised goes to ozfish Moreton Bay. We are restoring shellfish reefs in Moreton Bay so that the fishing will be awesome again. On the photo entry weigh in 6th May we will be hosting the Wynnum Manly Seafood Festival.   5. Win a Boat! I hope you can all come to the Wynnum Fishing Classic this year. The major prizes are 2 boats. A Bluefin 4.2m Rogue with 30hp Parsun engine and Registered Redco Trailer and a Bluefin 3.0 Catfish with 5hp 4 stroke Parsun. These prizes are lucky door prizes for Adult and Junior Anglers and all entrants go into the draw. You can purchase tickets in the raffle for the Rogue but the Catfish is just for junior entrants. There are so many more prizes including rod packages, lures and some awesome Alvey gear to give away. It is on the Labour Day long weekend, 3rd to 6th May. Registration and photo entry weigh in is at George Clayton Park in Wynnum. It is a photo entry catch and release competition. This year we are hosting the Wynnum Seafood Festival at the weigh in.   7. Hey Gang, I hope you are all well. I spoke to SEQ water about hosing a Tilapia catching competition at North Pine Dam next year. They said that there is not enough parking at the new paddle craft sites so I wanted to ask you if you have a better option. It would be great to have powered craft but not essential. Somewhere there is a big problem with Tillies and Carp. What do you think? Oh and it would be great to have it within reach of Brisbane.
