      1. Video report link - https://youtu.be/rtzVPnZU-jM Thought I’d share a Port Phillip Bay video fishing report. We launched from Altona, the weather was perfect, and the fishing was great. We headed to shallow squid grounds towards point cook fishing depths between 3-6 meters deep. We almost bagged out on squid. Red and pink squid jigs the standout, worked slowly. We then moved on drifting and caught some really good size flathead, using squid tentacles as bait on paternoster rigs. Biggest flattie was in the mid 60’s. We also caught whiting, pinkies and a gummy shark. Despite having a banana emergency onboard, the day turned out great.
      2. Hi Guys Got 20-30 kg squid fresh I'd like to pass on. Not frozen import. Local stuff. SM Arrows Canx order. Boss says must go by midday 07/03/19 as fresh caught. Brisbane pick up. I'll check in again at 11pm then 2-3am off to freezers after that. PM for details
      3. I bought a squid light from an Aussie supplier in the hope the kids could use it from a kayak. Since my enthusiasm has been dampened for using the kayak in northern waters, could people chime in and let me know what kinds of waters would have squid and kayaks ?? I know the Sydney Harbour would work but I'm not going to go to Sydney for that ! I live in Toowoomba and it is freezing this time of year so we want to get warmer on the upcoming holidays and were hoping to go to Rockhampton area. Would the Clarence work ? (Iluka and Yamba) Cheers, Steve
      4. Hi there, I will be travelling to the Whitsundays next week and want to do some fishing, I will be running a 3000 reel with 15lb braid, bringing some squid jigs, hooks, sinkers, I would like to catch squid as bait and to eat (good locations for this) and bait up hooks with it to catch fish, what types of fish would I catch and where are good locations for this?

Heading down to Blairgowrie next week for a holiday, where are some good land based spots to find flathead or whiting as well as what piers are best for squid. Thanks
