Saturday the 6th and Sunday 7th of October 2012The Annual Tumby Bay Fishing Competition will be held on the 6th and 7th October with a first prize of $1000 for the heaviest King George whiting, and a $500 junior first prize. There will be over 25 category winners so everyone has a chance to win a prize.Come spend 2 days fishing at the wonderful town of Tumby Bay. (Junior is 15 years and under on the 7/10/12)Note: Junior competitors compete for the junior prize. If juniors wish to compete for the adult prize they must register as an adult.To EnterAll competitors must complete a registration form and sign acceptance of these rules and conditions. Entries close at 12.00 noon on Sun 7th October.RegistrationRegistration is at the Tumby Bay Lions Park adjacent the Jetty.Every competitor (including juniors) must attend registration at the Lions Park prior to starting fishing. All fees must be paid at registration prior to fishing.Registration is open from 7am – 4pm on Saturday 6th Oct, and 7am – 2pm on Sunday 7th October.At registration, competitors will receive a completion ID lanyard that must be kept on the person at all times while fishing.
