   The Batemans Bay Annual Yellowfin Competition is one of the first and one of the biggest events on the Game-fishing calendar with entrants from New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. The tournament attracts men, women and children to the seaside town of Batemans Bay for the two days with the aim of serious fishing, tall tales of the one that got away and loads of enjoyment.

   The annual Winter Family Fun Fishing Competition in Port Broughton is a fundraising event for the Port Broughton Sailing and Boat Club Inc. The event attracts anglers from all over South Australia.
   
    
   
   It is a fun weekend for all the family and includes kids, adults, and jetty/shore sections. Prizes, trophies and shields are presented to winners.
   
    
   
   Free activities during the weekend are held for kids at the Community Hall.
