Our dog just stays around us. Because she's so dark, she's gotten locked outside a couple of times(outside our gate) and she just waits at the front door, waiting for us to let her in:)

I wish that waa the case with mine mate, huskeys are bread to run. he knows he is doing wrong but just cant help himself. inside the yard he will sit, stay, lay down.howl/speak and pretty much anything you ask but once out of the yard not on a leash he just ignores you

  2. Jmac can you let your huskey off the leash at all?? no way I can let mine off just runs. he got out yesterday for the first time in years, had to run after him for a couple of ks. Im just glad that it was hot enough to tire him out quickly because when its cool he just goes and goes and goes

Ursula on the left, Salem on teh right.

Now for you people out there that dont like cats, I have to back old Salem up. Getting on in his year and still manages to kill about two rats/mice a week. He has never brought in a bird though.

Ursula is learning from him well and has managed 3 small mice to date. She is only 6 months old though and has a long way to go :) [img size=400]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/Cats-71eb3bf699d02587056b0f0e72a2889a.jpg

I'd put money on it spilling in from a private dam or something. Still, someone got one in the Noosa River so you never know. Maybe one rogue fish got lost looking for some action on the GC ;)took something it shouldn't have and woke up in the Coomera river and forgot how to get home.

They actually get a few barra in the noosa river system, its the most southern known breeding population

heres some links to a few that have been caught
