  2. I run 65lb gosen braid on my 10000 which is more than enough for kings/ambo's,other spool I got 50lb j braid...
  3. was an awesome day on the water,i was on shanes boat, fish played the game early.i dont know how you fellas bottom bashed for so long,we where floatlining and it was hard enough pulling light lead up nd afish nearly every drop

    Pots

don't bother buying the cheap ones from bcf,i have the 1mtr round pots from the crab pot centre , out catch the rouge pots 2 to one and out last them.i bought 2 rouge pots from bcf 3 trips ago and there on the way to the tip,had to repair them after the first trip...cannot see the value in paying 40 buck a pot at bcf when u can pay the same or less at the crab pot centre when u buy 8.another pot worth getting are the Wilson heavy duty pot they are around 40-50 bucks a pot little bit smaller at 900mm round but catch well....best tip I can tell anyone is set a pot up in the shop put it on the floor and if it rocks put it back on the shelf and leave them there...if ya pot rocks in the current it will put the crabs off going in it..
  8. sandies and muddies you get all year round, winter crab the deeper holes in any creek/rivers and you should still manage a few muddies.as for sandies this time of year is normally pretty good with 30 odd keepers out of 8 pots in the bay..try wellington point jetty land based this time of year
  9. good meting you mate and cheers for the rod..not sure weather to give it to dad or keep it now...might have to test it at 1770 first.lol
  10. hey aussie will send ya a pm..what size is the wobbler
