    Hi all, appreciate the welcome and advice. Not exactly a beginner, more a lapsed fisherman due to previous work commitments. Have a variety of rods and reels, baitcasters and threadline, and a 5/6 weight fly rod outfit. Happy to soak a bait or be a bit more active with lures,jigs, (or flies for freshwater). Looking forward to a bit of dry weather and getting out and exploring various options being suggested here. Thanks & Cheers!

    Hi all, newly retired and moved to Brisbane, D'Bay from FNQ. Land based at the moment and looking forward to a bit of relaxing fishing, salt and fresh. Any suggestions for a 68 yr old geriatric?
