Hey Bruce welcome to AFO some good imfo on this site mate and some good people.
Done plenty in the NT but not fishing, I just done a quick search online and got
half dozen hits for fishing charters in Darwin.
If you go online I'm sure after a couple of enquiries you get a charter that suits you.
Although in August you'll be paying tourist rates. ( hang on you will be a bloody tourist, a kiwi one 🤣 )
That'll put the price up a bit.😂 All the best and enjoy yourself.😄
    Nice boat too.😍

    Hi team,

I'm travelling Aussie in Aug/Sept, arriving on the 16th August this year, staying til the 19th then driving down to Perth. I'm looking to do a charter out of Darwin while we're there, preferably reef/bottom fishing as my old heart won't allow me to take on marlin, big sailfish and other the other larger adversaries as I did in the old days on my 35ft game boat "Waiata Moana", pictured below.

Looking to do a 5 to 8 hour trip to the reefs out from Darwin, and I'd prefer to go out in a smaller boat, with perhaps 2 or 3 others. I'm 66, so the boat must have the usual chiller, toilet, and am happy to hire/loan fishing gear. Most of the professional charter operators use centre consoles or are the bigger meat-hunting trips which aren't my thing, I'd much rather be in a smaller team in a cabin boat.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a one-off charter?
    Cheers,
    Bruiser (Bruce)
