This weekend I am heading up to the gold coast for a week and would like to catch some squid at marine stadium (The pier in the broad water near the spit). I have a 1.8 and 2.5 squid jigs which are supposed to be the right size for the tiger and arrow squid there and a uv light to make them glow. I would like to go at night roughly 6 - 9pm. I do not really know what tides are good for squid and I would love it if someone could comment which days would be best, the tide times are posted bellow.
-Thanks

I have caught a lot of Carp in the past up at the spill way, but I would like to catch some closer. I have heard there are some near the shopping centre at Carindale, near the bike bridge.
I would love to know if anyone has been there and had success, also any other spots close to Brisbane and rigging tactics Eg: corn or worms.

On the bank, the moggil creek is so skinny its to small even for a kayak, you can sight cast them to witch is fun

Last week I went to the moggil creek to try to catch my first bass, I succeed and got a 43cm Australian bass on a popper. I now want to go some ware different, I live in Brisbane and do not want to travel all the way to somerset. I heard the Mt Crosby weir was supposed to be good, but there were lost of no fishing zones.
Has anyone been there and can tell me exactly where whey went?
-Thanks
