all this talk of a 60cm bass and i have never seen one

i tried 30lb leader for bass and still catch more than anyone fished along with me. they r not fussy as bream.
oh i dont know about that kevin what about the day all us guys were at np i didnt see you get any i was using 6lb and got over 10 bass point is you dont have to overkill

i dont think anyone said spinnerbaits they would be your best bet in a river and if your going to use plastics use slider grubs in the baby bass colour always works for me

i have seen a few reports of lots of undersize bream on bait some other places you could try like the sunken rock wall or the rock wall near the mouth
