Don't think you could go wrong with prawns and yabbies. Cleaning fish a few times i've noticed the flatties and bream seem to love prawns but the whiting love fresh yabbies

Watch the tide and the sandbanks. Plenty of shallow water around that area but good channels as well - just got make sure you know where they are. Try up against any of the million mangrove banks for flatty, bream or jew. I think there is a pretty good map on Nugget's site or you could pick one up at the Gem on the way there. Good luck,

I like cobby cobby passage out near slipping sands it has a good yabbie bank at the mouth to pump plenty of yabbies and i fish all through there while the tide is running then move up into the hole at the 3 way junction for the turn of the tide it is one of the deepest for the whole of the pin area and is linded with rock bottom

Get some fresh yabbies and head up to kalinga banks or the north side of jacobs wells channel there is a blind channel in there that it perfect for flatty and bream. You can also try weed bank near tipplers always have luck at those 3 spots good luck

Hi, I'm taking by Brother and my Boss fishing Wendesday morning and was thinking of putting my boat in at cabbage Tree point. has anyone got any advice and spots for Fishing that area? What bait should we use. We will be targeting the normal species for that area, bream, flathead etc.
