    Hi guys, just landed in the area looking to explore the area get back into fishing currently have a Sea Ray 185 bowrider I use for both fishing and leisure. 
    I've been reading about Morton bay area in different chats on here learning alot from you guys so thanks, Thinking of just stayed close to shore for a while until I get use to it.. any suggestions where to launch on the north side just low key to stretch her legs.

    Hahaha will take that advice! May have to extend the holidays 😂
    Thanks heaps guys helps me stop questioning myself whether to risk going out in this current climate. 
    Cheers for the non bias replies on here too..  great to be on board with some experience anglers and boaties like yourselves. 👍

    Give it up like us older blokes have done( took us a long time to wake up ),😅
    Doesn't matter where you are I think you have to take the weather as it comes,
    just be ready when good weather comes along.

    Yep, Autumn, Winter and Spring are usually pretty good. Summer there's usually plenty of decent mornings but the breeze springs up about 11am.

    Hey, Welcome aboard.
    If you're simply wanting to go for a ride, You could launch at Pinkenba on the Brisbane River. Take a cruise up past the city and check out the sites from the water.  This would be the safe option with the current weather conditions.
    There's also places to fish on the river, but that's a different question.
    There are other ramps closer to you but they lead straight into Moreton Bay, which is probably a no-go zone with the wind at the moment.
