Thanks mate. I also use a prevail but it's only 9ft 6, paired with a 5000 fierce 3, so was looking at getting a second rod at 12ft for a bigger set up.. just haven't heard anything about the allegiance 3 rods and was hoping someone had one that could provide some feedback

Hey guys just wondering if anyone had any experiencia with penn the 12ft 12-20kg penn allegiance 3 rods it's reasonable price felt good in the hands at the shops and would likely pair well with my penn conflict 6000. Obviously the rod is for surf with target species being jewfish or larger than aussie salmon/tailer type fish. I always fish with bait and sinker so cast wieght has to be considered. Generally I fish the south coast anywhere from Wollongong to batemansbay depending on work. Thanks In advance
