The Aldi jacket booklet also has self-service maintenance instructions and a card for logging the checks. I think I threw mine away. Do they really check these if it looks in good condition?
True, if you get some mud or sand in the speed sensor hole, the speed and fuel economy numbers are random. Easy to clean it out.
If I even slightly suspected bad fuel I would siphon it all out and put it in a car or something else.
Bar Crusher 535C with a 90HP Yamaha is claimed to get 3.08 km/L at 3800 rpm dropping to 2.8 km/L at 4500 rpm. See

I get about that with my 535XS in the river.
I bought two of these. They do have two straps, waist and chest whereas my Marlin 150 jacket only has one at the waist and was double the price. I would recommend these Aldi jackets.
