With the next several days of weather looking crap, i decided for a solo session today. Southerly wind was bloody cold and the bay was somewhat choppy although it was forecast to drop slightly after lunch for a brief period which it did only for an hour or two.
Managed a snapper on board , a quick pic and floated it back in the landing net in the water while bending over the side of the boat and sent it back down happily on its way 🙂 
Thats probably it for me on the snaps this winter, might do a camping trip next week before i go back to work 🤐

Had a quick trip to the Port of Brisbane today with my youngest boy. We were going to head out into the Bay, but when we got to the ramp at the crack of 7.30am I decided to wimp out because it was a bit brisk to be travelling too far in shorts and a flannie so we just fished the port area. Tide was running out the whole time, but we still managed a few keepers. I was hoping for a few snaps before the closed season. I couldn’t land a single squire but my son just kept hooking up on undersize models. We also landed a few undersize tailor but no keepers.  Gave it away around lunchtime.
