You mention next weekend but the date in the original post is the 12th Dec which is 2 weekends away.

@Old Scaley & @kmcrosby78 this was my reasoning for sourcing a BBQ because as well as waiting for a BBQ and hogging it from other people needing it they are never hot enough for sausages let alone a nicy seared steak! No judgement but if you like your meat stewing in juices and water with a grey appearance then this event is NOT for you. Yes it's a BBQ trailer including a BBQ... Am about to give Mick De Brenni (my local MP and Minister for Housing AND a fellow school mate) a call to see what he can do.

Actually speaking of the BBQs there, they are electric ones and I was reminded by my wife that they may not be that hot - we usually pre-cook our sausages and then just re-heat/finish them there. So someone bringing a BBQ (unless the BBQ trailer Danielle mentioned has one) would be great.

So does the BBQ trailer actually include a BBQ? Are the BBQs at the site those electric ones that never have enough heat to cook a sausage in under an hour? If so, it would be good to have an alternative. Thanks for organising all of this, Danielle.

My son Liam now has a kindy friends birthday party to go to at Wynnum til 12:30 so I'll need to work out logistics - if need be I may need to see if someone - @ellicat perhaps? - could take my esky and possibly table for me. Will work it out closer to the time.

Oh and with what appears to be a few of the 'fairer sex' (mostly partners/wives) coming us of the fishing (tackle) obsessed nature better make a secret pact NOT TO MENTION HOW MUCH WE SPEND ON FISHING GEAR ..........
