41 cm flatty caught after way too long flicking plastics into the wind. There's a few around as I had several good runs, this is the only one that stuck. Its a skinny fish, but I'm hungry and the boys wanted to learn how to fillet a fish. So I'll be hungry still tonight

No measuring tape today, but it was at least 35cm. seemed to be a few about, I got 3 in an hour. That's an all time record for me!! Still in the mud @ellicatit still stinks. Bad

splashing around in the mud this afternoon landed this little fella. 30cm flatty. sent back to grow. that mud stanks bad, one of the kids also got a monster 18cm whiting but i cant post it for some reason. surprisingly the rain stayed away, all day.

Evening, I know it won't change the results, I've been wrong slated as one of *those* southside. Team North all the way!!

Well it's been a hot minute since I've been out, but hit the water with the kids today. 10 fish total, biggest was a 30cm Flatty. 3 X bream fed to a pelican. Great time had by all. Hopefully get a few more days on the water before an exceeding busy mid year.

Finally got around to posting my Jack. Was not expecting it, very happy with the result. Swam away just fine.

Do we still need to show our pinkie? If I'd know this was on last night......... Landed my first Jack. 35 ish cm. On a Kmart rod set up for bream using checked kebab as bait. Picture when I get home and work this out

Not this cat. Lucked out hard

Unfortunately no. I've got one with a measuring tape, rain at the time was making things very awkward. I also wasn't tracking the little finger bit. Watch out next weekend, I'll be dragging the kids out and hopefully getting a few.

It finally happened. I caught a fish. Not a big one, and I had to stand through a couple of rain squalls, but some silly fish somehow hooked itself and I reeled the bugger in 24.5cm whiting. Not enough for dinner, but enough to keep me interested for the next 12 months or so!!

1. It's windy enough to blow a dog off a leash there. 2. I couldn't catch covid on a cruise ship. Just over an hour, all I got a a single hit from a small Flatty. Next time hopefully I'll get the bugger

About to head out for my last fish before work starts. Hopefully Hayes Inlet produces the goods. Dohles rocks has given me nothing, except for 2 broken rods (thanks kids) and about 50 bucks worth of tackle and bait down the gurgler. At least the kids are outside.

I'm in. Not sure how much use I'll be, but I'm in

Put me down for Northside. I've only a few days left off work, but will try and make the most of it

Hi, first time posting in a very long time, and onto an old thread at that Ive recently purchased myself a kayak and will be launching from Dohles Rocks, as its a 5 min drive down the road. Heading around the rocks themselves, Bald Hills creek, Freshwater creek and Hays Inlet. Can I assume the above tips are still pertinent. How is the fishing around these areas lately from the water? Ive not caught much from lad at allrecently. Thanks

I got this one about 2 weeks back, got thrown off a few more times. Seems to be lots of babies around at the moment. Good for a bit of fun. Take the kids if they don't mind the mud.

Hi guys, how's dohles Rocks going at the moment? I've caught a few small flattie there in the past, might revisit it soon.
