Reading up on the different types of raiders, so guess between the snapper or the Barra. Is there a fair bit of action in the tip for casting far in your Barra ? It seems like the 5-10kg option would be the best just to have that capability just got to decide between the snapper or Barra option

Currently using the shimano viper combo (sienna 2500) 6'6" in the kayak in the pine river and it seems fine for the small plastics and getting into those tight spots. however after advice I'm wanting to get the Daiwa double clutch 95mm and wanting to know recommendations of a 2nd rod to use for this lure, would need to be 7' and under due to the kayak but obviously strong enough to handle potential mack/tailor/jew Thanks Team!

Gday all, Not new to fishing but am new to kayak fishing and especially lure fishing, have always been a bait fisherman targeting whiting/bream from shore or reef fish out in the deep water. Have picked up a kayak and live near the pine(Dohles Rocks) so am asking for any spots that are good to hit and especially techniques with and what lures to use. At the moment i have a 1/2 Switchblade which i havent tried yet, currently using a soft plastic paddle tail with a 1/12 head. Appreciate all advice! Thanks!
