    The question is do we have new legends in the making coming through. Looking at the quality of the Qld NRL teams at the moment I fear we haven’t.

    And just re-read your last post and saw that you had actually mentioned he was the origin coach. As I suspected senility has set in. There is no hope for me.

    I know I’m getting old and senile but hasn’t Kevvie been the origin coach lately. It’s not as if he hasn’t got coaching experience. And he lightens the room up with his cheerfulness and wit as soon as he enters a room. Something the poor old broncs are badly in need of.

However, I must warn you that one of the moderators on here (who looked a hell of a lot like you actually) told Hamish and me off for using this particular topic for anything other than competition fish photo posting.     Yes. Only day 3. My freezers are full at the moment anyway so I’ll wait until near the end and see what size fish I have to buy in each category to win.

    Well, as far as I’m concerned your ‘mack’ is disqualified so far because on my screen it’s just a blank picture. Nothing there whatsoever. Perhaps only the Southsiders older computers can decipher the photo, probably taken on a Kodak Instamatic. By the way, I just posted a picture of my Mack picture from today. At 3.5m it dwarfs yours. Sorry if your ancient abacuses can’t display it.

    Sorry KM. You misunderstood me. I was obviously not referring to my esteemed Northside teammates when casting aspersions on certain people’s mental abilities.

    Does Northside actually have to submit a fish to win? Didn’t see that anywhere in the comp rules.

    Confucius once said ‘They who count their chickens before they are hatched may not necessarily get the biggest complying fish during the AFO Suburbs of Origin competition’. Or something to that effect. Although, I must admit, he couldn’t speak English, so couldn’t have been that bright really. I mean, I know some absolute morons that can speak English.

    Well, where I am there’s only Deep Sea Toads and baby trevally so don’t feel too hard done by.
