Evolution is what I think you are referring to...creation does not happen in the wild.
Yes there is new developments in fish every generation....you might need several thousands of generations though to get a defined new species and that will only happen if the old generation still exists.
Boats for Lord Howe Island are hard to predict.....look at the locals boats....they are most likely pangas or similar.
Go shake the hands of the locals as get a conversation going about their boats and why they have them.

I can assure you that pellets used to feed aquaculture prawns work. Ridley's have a factory at Wacol. Sinking pellets. It's been a while, but I think something like monodon grower #2 should do the trick for you 👍
