Yes, first one is a “Yellow Banded Wirrah” That’s really cool BrodieS
Second one is a “Eastern Wirrah”
Third is a “Eastern Red Scorpionfish” or more commonly called Red Rock Cod and yes they have poisonous dorsal spines. They won’t kill you but they bloody hurt.
Certainly a array of different species mate.

As Ellicat said Gunther’s Wrasse, Orange/brown lines on its face and spots along its back up near the dorsal. They have been recorded much further north as well and I would guess it’s an adult.
-
On a side note, that would be getting in the Northern range for the Kelpie and the Southern range for that Trevally.
Interesting stuff Brodie

Hi Rick
I do have a photo of it. Please see the first page of this topic.
Cheers, Mission
Sorry mate I didn’t finish my post. I have now corrected it. What I was getting at is maybe one is better than another as they are similar.

There is a couple similar looking fish, Sombre Sweetlip and Painted Sweetlip.
I personally haven’t eaten any of them so I can’t comment but maybe one is better eating than the other.

I believe you can turn it on or off in settings. Also have a google on why my Hook not reading water depth. They have that option as they don’t suggest having it on when on land for a long period of time.
